CRC President Sends Pchum Ben Gifts to Frontline Forces, CMAC Personnel

The Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) has delivered gifts from its President, Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, to frontline armed forces and Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC) personnel stationed in Oddar Meanchey province ahead of Cambodia’s traditional Pchum Ben Festival.
On Oct. 6, Provincial Governor and Oddar Meanchey Provincial Red Cross Branch President H.E. Mean Chanyada, accompanied by a working team, met with the personnel and presented the gifts on behalf of the CRC president.
H.E. Mean Chanyada conveyed Samdech Bun Rany Hun Sen’s greetings and expressions of care and support for the frontline forces and CMAC personnel, praising their dedication and strong sense of responsibility in carrying out their duties, particularly in safeguarding security, safety and peace for residents in border areas.
He said the gifts went beyond material assistance, reflecting the CRC president’s solidarity with personnel who continue to serve with dedication and perseverance to protect local communities.
The governor added that the gesture of support and encouragement would strengthen the morale of frontline forces and CMAC personnel, motivating them to continue fulfilling their duties responsibly and contributing to security, stability and safety along the border in Oddar Meanchey province.
