His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, and Her Majesty the Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk returned home this afternoon after undergoing medical checkups in Beijing, China.

Their Majesties were warmly welcomed at Techo International Airport by Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen; National Assembly President Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary; Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet and his spouse, Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony; and many other high-ranking officials.

Their Majesties have been in Beijing for medical checkups since Sept. 1, 2026. They regularly travel to China for routine medical examinations, generally twice a year, with each visit normally lasting about one month.

His Majesty the King previously spent more than three months in China for medical treatment, including surgery and close medical supervision at the Royal Residence in Beijing under the care of senior medical specialists and medical staff.
