Cambodia, Vietnam to Strengthen Inspection Cooperation
AKP Phnom Penh, September 28, 2026 --
The Ministry of Inspection of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam are committed to strengthening bilateral cooperation and sharing experiences in inspection practices.
The commitment was made during a meeting held here on Sept. 28 between H.E. Sok Soken, Cambodian Minister of Inspection, and H.E. Nguyễn Quốc Đoàn, Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam.
During the meeting, H.E. Sok Soken recalled the long-standing close relations between the two nations, built on the principle of "Good Neighbourliness, Traditional Friendship, Comprehensive Cooperation, and Long-Lasting Stability."
He noted that bilateral cooperation in the inspection sector was originally initiated and cultivated in 2005 under the leadership of former ministerial leaders, particularly Samdech Kittisangahapundit Men Sam An, current Member of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King.
He reaffirmed Cambodia's steadfast commitment to maintaining close cooperation with the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam through knowledge exchanges, human resource capacity building, and digital integration to promote transparency, good governance, and integrity in the public administration of both countries.
