The Ministry of Tourism has reminded national and international tourists visiting Cambodia of the emergency contact numbers available 24 hours a day for assistance during their stay and travel in the Kingdom.

According to a recent announcement from the Secretariat of the Inter-Ministerial Committee for Facilitating the Travel and Transportation of Tourists and Travellers at International Border Gates and International Gates Across the Country, the measure aims to further promote Cambodia as a safe, trusted and welcoming tourism destination.

The Inter-Ministerial Committee, in cooperation with relevant ministries, institutions and units, has been strengthening coordination in providing assistance services and addressing issues faced by tourists in a responsible and effective manner, in line with the approach of the “dynamics of stakeholder system.”

The emergency contact numbers are as follows:

Entry and exit-related cases:
General Department of Immigration – 068 386 699 / 078 386 699 / 087 386 699

Security and safety cases:
General Commissariat of National Police – 117

Tourism Police Department:
016 654 736

Rapid Response Team for Foreigners:
031 201 2345 / 031 601 2345

Medical emergencies and physical accidents:
Emergency Ambulance Service – 119

The Ministry urged tourists who encounter unexpected problems or require urgent assistance to contact the relevant number according to the nature of their case so that timely assistance and intervention can be provided.
